Glazing

Glazing is a thin, transparent layer of paint spread over other layers of paint once they are dried, allowing the earlier layers to shine through. This creates an affect that can make the surface appear as if it is glowing, as well as highlight textures to give a surface a rich, dimensional appearance.

Glazing can be used on walls and is especially stunning on cabinets. For cabinets, the glaze accents surface details, so any intricate carvings are gorgeously highlighted with a glazed finish.
